OpTic Gaming vs. Cloud9 was a much anticipated and predicted matchup in the Upper Semifinals of VCT NA; two teams we’ve seen already perform at an international level with two of the biggest brains in NA Valorant. With Haven on the board, I could only wonder if OpTic would once again bring out Neon which didn’t show huge success against Version1 in Groups.
Thankfully as an avid Neon enjoyer in competitive play, OpTic showed their usage of the latest agent once again on Haven. The composition consisted of Brimstone, Neon, Breach, Skye, and Chamber. OpTic seemed to struggle once again on defense with a 4-8 half, but brought it back 12-12 on their attack, and closed it 14-12 in OT and setting the series 1-0 with the advantage for OpTiC.
