Fnatic’s Valorant team coming into VCT EMEA has had many eyes on their innovation and strategic approach to the game. They had high expectations from the community as one of the best teams in EMEA. Their strategic approach and depth shined on Fracture in 2021. Fnatic is undefeated on the map, with impressive wins against Cloud9 and Vision Strikers at Champions last year.
Impatiently throughout VCT, I waited to see what Fnatic would bring to the table on Fracture. Finally, in their semifinal match against M3C to qualify for Iceland, Fnatic picked Fracture. Minimal changes were made to their previous composition; Astra, Viper, Raze, Breach, Cypher. Against M3C they brought out Brimstone, Viper, Raze, Breach, and Cypher. With a 7-5 start on defense, and closing it out 13-11, Fnatic continues their winning streak and dominance on the map.
